1. Ice Water
     You guys, this is one of those things where you have to go to another country to fully appreciate. Because people in other countries just fucking do not drink ice water! It's like, why would you ever want to drink tepid water when you could have a nice tall glass of condensation-covered ICE WATER?! It's like the difference between Drew Lachey and Nick Lachey. Or Solange Knowles and Beyonce. I mean, COME ON, the best choice is obvi you guys. No, but for real, I totally get "to each his own" mentality and being familiar with what you grow up with, but I personally just can't get satisfaction and fulfillment out of non-ice-water. Thank god for refrigerators and ice makers and cutey cute ice cube trays.

2. The Music Video For "In The Sun" by She & Him


This is just the cutest fucking departure from 50 cent's Candy Shop, ya dig? Like no trashy grinding and boob jiggling here. No, it's just Zooey Fucking Deschanel being so cute you wanna be her and frolic through high school hallways (wahhhh no more frolicking through high school hallways for me).

3. Nighttime Garden Parties
    Really, these are just so pretty and unexpected. Strung up christmas lights and lanterns and candles and food and friendly banter just have a way totally wrenching my heartstrings. They are like how you feel when you read Eloise. Or when you watch Lord of The Rings and the hobbits are all hoppy and precious in the Shire. Or Harry Potter at Christmastime. Or while they're chillin in the Weasley's Burrow. Yeah.

4. The Color Of Eggplants
     Next time you go to the grocery store, just marvel at an eggplant for a while. Because they are so gloriously colored. If I could choose a color to embody for a day, it would be eggplant purple. The striped ones are so cool too. They are like happy little half albino, half purple oddities. Just chillin like weirdly shaped babies.

5. Google Image Search Results for "Ostrich"
   Do it! Ostriches are so funny. Also, you can race them. I aspire to race atop an ostrich one day. (As a disclaimer, there is one nasty picture of an ostrich hissing at the camera in google image search, but besides that, they are hilarious).
